I survived and got to the end and took the elevator out (I also activated the other one half way through the map). God those ruins are awesome in a creepy and tedious way.
I think I may have to fire Lydia, or beat her. Seriously, you're one job is to guard me. You were standing directly behind me when I was browsing through some rubble. How in the name of fuck did that Falmer thing sneak up and attack me? I was the one that had to attack and kill it, too.
I may go get Eola. Us Bretons have to stick together, y'know? If so, where does Lydia go if I haven't purchased Breezehome?
Anyway, I have the Proudspire Manor, plus all but the enchanting upgrades. The house is glitching on me (unusable bookshelves, weapon racks not working) but besides that it's lovely. I'm debating on buying either the Markarth hall or the Hjerim place. I've heard the latter is glitchy and harder to get. Markarth also has problems with the Forsworn Conspiracy quest, though I don't know what these problems are. I've started the quest but have ignored it for a while. Which is the better place and what are these bugs?
Oh, I also have about 13-14 thousand gold on me, plus plenty of loot to sell. That leads me to my next question, how do I increase prices gotten from selling stuff? Right now I'm not even making half the maximum worth. Perks or just the Speech skill?
I'm also planning on joining the Imperials. The Stormcloacks just annoy me. And I've been to Windhelm, Nords are dicks and I don't have any problem suppressing them for another few centuries. It's, like, keep your dead dead, y'know? Anyway, anything I should do before picking a side? I imagine certain places and quests will be blocked off when I help the Legion.
Also, I'm thinking DLC might relate in some way to Blackreach. That place just seems too detailed and large for only a handful of quests. Even if it's just in some small way, like the Dunwich building in Fallout 3 with the Point Lookout quest.
This game is far too addictive.
