What country is this unit for?Free Russia. What type is this unit? Mobile forces Name for Unit:Tachanka. In-depth Description for Unit:The Tachanka seems quite out of place in the modern world, mostly because it's a horse drawn carriage designed to carry a weapon (usually a machine-gun). It was originally used in Ukraine and Bolshevik Russia during the first Civil War and was then phased out of use. In 2015, when fuel for vehicles was rare and Free Russia still had plenty of horses, the Free Russian army started using it again. Surprisingly, the Tachanka proved to be quite an effective weapon due to its mobility. The Free Russian tachankas were usually equipped with a machine-gun, a mortar or a rocket launcher or even all three of them. They would be driven through wooded terrain and quickly positioned near the enemy before firing at him. They would then move and vanish before the enemy could strike back. Any notes you wish to add:Usually made out of wood and metal. It is vulnerable to any kind of unit when out in the open. ________________ What country is this unit for?Free Russia What type is this unit? Mechanised. Name for Unit:Aerosan (Aerosled) In-depth Description for Unit:Another design used in the past. The Aerosan was used by the Soviet Union against Finland during the Winter War for patrols and raids in heavily snowed in areas where other vehicles could not go. Free Russia brought those back into service during the 2013 winter campaign against the Refounded Empire. They helped supply the troops when aircraft were in short supply and also participated in a few assaults on Imperial positions. Any notes you wish to add:Can outmanoeuver tanks in deep snow, but is not manoeuvrable enough to operate in wooded areas. It is vulnerable to heavy weapons as well as aircraft. ________________ What country is this unit for?Free Russia. What type is this unit? Mechanised. Name for Unit:Bakunin heavy tank, B-tank. In-depth Description for Unit:Named after the famous Anarchist philosopher and revolutionary Mikhaïl Bakunin, the Bakunin heavy tank's (or B-tank) design was taken from the "Obyekt 279" prototype tank the Soviets had developped during the 1950s. The tank is quite heavy and large and is propelled by four tracks, giving it excellent traction over difficult terrain and making it very hard to immobilise. The tank's strange shape makes it capable of withstanding a nuclear blastwave without getting flipped over. The B-tank is also an NBC vehicle, meaning it can protect its crew from radiation, chemical and biological attacks. The tank is usually fitted with a cannon and a machine gun, but flamethrower variants as well as a missile launcher variant have been made. Any notes you wish to add:The B-tank's main drawback is its cost and difficulty of production, which means it is used by Free Russia in small numbers. It is also hard to repair and maintain in the field. Also, pic: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/a9/Object_279_%28heavy_tank%29.jpg/800px-Object_279_%28heavy_tank%29.jpg
