uk.ign.com/videos/2011/02/16/dead-island-announcement-trailer(For the users that hate to wait for the page to load) The trailer for the above game involves a child being killed. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm very excited for this game, but the idea of children dying in video games always gets me uneasy. Not to the point that I'd refuse to play the game, but I might just avoid areas that would involve me killing them in game as much as possible. Some people always complain about how video games are missing children, saying that they should be involved, which is pretty bloodthirsty if it is a zombie/action game where the point of it is killing people(Ex: I've seen youtube comments on someone who believed that there should have been children during the mission "No Russian"). While I don't see why most people tend to think of putting children in video games is a good idea, maybe some of you have a explanation? Is it just for the realism? Why?

Seeing the child die had quite a stronger impact than seeing, for example, an adult die. Perhaps that was the entire point.

I'm gonna go with Roj on this one. If it was some adult it wouldn't be a very interesting or powerful trailer.
But anyway, the setting of the game looks interesting. I think I may keep an eye on it in the future.

Oh, wow. I was gonna make a joke about getting hot and bothered about the idea and then wanting Rai to help me sing Tik Tok, but now I'm just too depressed.
Very powerful trailer. Very well done. Bravo to whoever made it. I mean, it doesn't look like a trailer for some generic KILL ALL ZOMBEHS game. It looks like the final scene in a movie.
But seriously people, you think in the impossible events of zombies, the walking dead will overlook the children?
Anyway, the only thing more disturbing than that trailer is your avatar.

That trailer looks epic. I van overlook the death of the girl no problem, of course, but the inclusion of children, or at least the daughter, especially send a powerful feeling of togetherness the family had before the zombies comes. I also really like the details they put in there. Like some random guy clubbing zombies in the background

I was also looking at the lighthouse in the background. Beautiful.
Is there any chance anyone here can rewind this video so we can see the rewinded rewind?
