I know, I know. I'm probably the only one that still plays it here, but it's the closest thing to an interactive Game Of Thrones that doesn't suck.
So my question is about enchanting. My character is a mage and I had a robe that increased my magic regeneration by 75%. But I want to wear my Nightingale outfit (srs boss n all) instead. So I figured I could de-enchant the robe and transfer it's magical abilities to a ring and wear that.
Tried it but it wouldn't work. How come? And is it possible for me to do?
Also, happy birthday Sylar!

Firstly, being that the Nightingale ootfit is armor, if you did enchant it, the Mana Regeneration would only be at the most 30% since clothes/robes/jewelry take better to Magic Wielding enchantments than light/heavy armor. Secondly I don't believe you can de-enchant armor without destroying it. Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Companions Armor especially, since the enchantments are mostly special (Like the double damage backstab on the DB gloves) though I may be completely wrong on that because I've never tried it. _________________ If you're playing on the PC: skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=9405That will make it so you can enchant the Nightingale armor

Gabey!
Sorry, I mean is it possible to de-enchant the robe I was wearing that gave me magic regeneration, destroy it and take its powers and transfer it to a ring (So that I can keep the benefits of my old outfit and wear the Nightingale armor) to wear?

Oh... well, yeah.
Just make sure you have a filled Grand Soul Gem. Once you disenchant something that enchantment becomes yours forever. You could put it on a ring but only to 100% increased regeneration I think.
