Character Name: Traveling Riverside
Age: Appears to be in his fifties or sixties, though it's not quite known.
Gender: Male
Birthplace: Who knows?
Race (Human, Vampire, etc.): He looks human, though has some phantom, devilish qualities.
Physical Appearance (Photo or description): Pretty much my avatar. Old black guy, skin black as the night, with pale eyes and usually wears a suit and hat. Not very tall, actually of normal height or even a tad short, but his intense presence can makes him appear six foot seven. Sometimes when he's talking to people and is trying to mess with their heads, he appears to actually grow in height. It's a very strange and unnerving phenomena to witness. Usually carries a black, parlour guitar wherever he goes. Speaks with a negro Dixie accent.
Good, Evil, or Neutral: Neutral, though sometimes he can be a good guy and sometimes a bad guy.
Strengths: Eloquent, sings beautifully well, has a strong presence, real alpha male kind of guy, can be very attractive in an odd way; not so much sexually attractive, but just "hey, this guy looks interesting."
Weaknesses: Doesn't fight usually; the more good hearted and mindful a character is, the less intimidating he will appear; if attacked, the majority of the time he will just flee. He might be able to be killed very easily, though I'm still unsure.
Weapon Of Choice (Within reason): Like I said, physically, he doesn't fight much, so he doesn't carry a weapon. That might change in the future.
Abilities (A short summary of your character's supernatural talents, if applicable): He has this ability to put ideas into people's heads, especially people that are not very moralistic or mindful; sometimes he seems to vanish without a trace; his singing can inebriate people, feel as if they're on opium.
Personality: Traveling Riverside is a very complex man. Sometimes he can seem hostile, aggressive, and very condescending, and other times he acts very kindheartedly and speaks with great sweetness. He doesn't stick around groups much, except when he has a definite purpose to lead them to something. While sometimes he can act in quite an evil manner, just as often he can seem like some sort of angel.
History: Old black guy. Smokes a lot of cigarettes, sings a lot of blues, unnerves random pedestrians, seems very mysterious and seems to appear and disappear at random half the damn time. One of the more odd residents of what-the-fuck-it's-called, Nevada. Rumoured by school kids and gossipy soccer moms to have sold his soul to the devil to play music so good, or that he is some sort of devil or something like that. Usually is made to sit at the back of the bus. Often spends his days singing on the corner and talking to random people. People think he came from Mississippi, but he never talks about it, and nobody really feel comfortable asking about his history. And if they do ask on the off occasion, he'll usually ignore the question and use it as an opportunity to say something far out. Also, nobody really remembers a time when Traveling Riverside wasn't living in the city, but they're certain he's not from here.
