"Fine, I won't stop you. If you think this is the best way to pay tribute to your partner, far be from me to stop you. But that doesn't mean I can't keep my eye on you. You and Isabella are coming with me." You tell Jessie, who beams at your understanding. Isabella simply nods in agreement, she sees this the beginning of her redemption.
"We'll be heading for the North Plaza to get weapons from the gun store. Any complaints?" You confirm the destination with your companions, who voice no objection. "All right, I'll see if anyone else is up for helping." You confer with John then Frank, who agree to investigate the people in distress at Paradise Plaza.
"We still need to leave the laptop and transceiver with someone otherwise we'll be running blind." Jessie chimes before you leave. "Give it to Bridget, you can trust her to be our eyes. What do you say?" Jessie is hesitant to fork over her position, it fills her with a sense of purpose during this depressing time. "Fine." She sighs, reluctantly handing over the transceiver and laptop.
"Bridget! Could you join us over here for a sec?" You call to her. She strolls your way until she reaches the trio. "What's up?" She asks, noting the somewhat stern expression Jessie is wearing. "We're heading out to get some supplies and were wondering if you'd monitor the laptop. Isabella hacked the camera feed in the Security Room and we can see everything on screen now. It's kind of small but it works. So, what do ya say?" Bridget ponders the request while you await a response.
"Sure, anything to help. Just show me how to work it and I'll do my best." She answers with enthusiasm, much to Jessie's dismay. "A-all right. Just let me give you a quick tutorial." You chuckle as you watch Jessie show Bridget how to work the new laptop feed, it is rather amusing to watch the agent fumble around with the computer while the model simply watches. At least moments like this are still possible, I had almost thought them but a memory in this hell-hole...
Once Jessie is done with her train wreck of a tutorial, you venture back into the Maintenance Tunnels with everyone. "All right, be careful in Al Fresca Plaza. There were just as many zombies as before, save as many people as you can but don't put your own lives at risk." You inform Frank and John before separating, your words cold as steel. I know they'll most likely be okay, but things could fall apart in an instant...
"We'll do that, give us a bit more credit. We won't pick a fight we can't win." Frank retorts sagely, John agreeing with slight nod. "Let's make it back safely. We haven't come this far only to succumb now." John extends his hand toward you, which you take to be his way of forming an agreement. "You got it, we'll see you soon." You grip his hand firmly, followed with a fiercely determined nod. You intend to uphold your end of the bargain, this mall will not become your tomb.
"All right ladies, away we go. One of the entrances to the North Plaza is this way." You walk confidently in front of the two women through the tunnels, basking in the glorious yet suspicious silence. "Don't you find it a bit strange this place is so empty? I mean it should be filled with even a few zombies, they're everywhere else, why not here?" Jessie dares to question, gaining herself a frustrated glare from both you and Isabella.
"Did you seriously just ask that?! Come on, you never question when things are going right. Keep your eyes and ears open now, there's no telling what we'll run into." Jessie innocently begins to ask what she did wrong, but Isabella merely scoffs and continues walking.
Some time later, you reach the Maintenance Entrance to the North Plaza, which lets out near the cd store. The zombies are on the prowl once more, seeking their next prospective meal. In order to avoid making either of your cohorts this meal, you travel by scaffolding to the hallway leading to the Hunting Shack. "Once we get there, grab as many firearms and as much ammo as you can. There's sure to be bags lying around that we can use, I'd be surprised if there weren't considering all the construction this plaza was under." You explain to Jessie and Isabella, who acknowledge your plan.
You take point while journeying down the narrow hall, dispatching of any zombie foolish enough to wander into your path. You reach the Hunting Shack soon enough, the sweet thought of a new gun exciting you.
Without a second thought, you enter the gunstore, not even bothering to check if there is anyone else occupying it. "Get 'em quick an- Oof!" Something slams you in the face taking a step into the Shack. Still reeling, you catch a glimpse of a heavy set man sporting a massive beard, he very much resembles what one would coin 'a mountain man.'
"I knew you bastard couldn't stay away from my shop. Git up boy, I'm not done with you yet." He speaks with a thick Southern drawl yet his words are clear, his mind however is a different story. "Tryin' to rob me, I know your game. Thought I wasn't gonna be stickin' around these here parts. But I fooled ya." He cocks his shotgun then points it directly at Isabella, shocking her so much that she drops her handgun by raising her arms into the air. You stagger to your feet and lunge forward, pushing Jessie out of the store, removing at least one of the women from harm's way. She gasps but you slam the door behind her, keeping a firm grip on it.
"Don't do this, you won't gain anything by shooting either of us. We only wanted a few weapons. If it'll placate you, we'll just leave without taking a thing." You offer to leave right there, it would be better to avoid facing down a psychotic, trigger-happy redneck holding one of your companions hostage. "Y-yes. We'll just get out of your way." Isabella lowers her hands and inches for the door, making exactly the wrong move.
"Keep your hands where I can see 'em, Beaner!" The man, whose name tag reads Cletus, shoots the ceiling, causing Isabella to leap in place. "Hey man! That's not necessary! We haven't done anything." You snap at the redneck, whom has infuriated you quite severely. Stay calm, losing it now could be costly.
You stare down Cletus for the longest time, his gun trained on Isabella all the while. The thin silence is cut by a shriek from outside though. You break the staring contest to check it out. A zombie has latched onto Jessiek, it must have snuck up on her as she watched the showdown with wide eyes. She struggles in vain to keep it at bay, she might not be able to hold it back much longer. "Looks like your other bitch is going to get what she deserves for tryin' to steal from me. As for you..." Cletus looks at Isabella with nothing but scorn, his intentions are not sexual but purely murderous. Fuck, this is a hell of a situation I've gotten myself into.

A) Attempt to talk it out with Cletus, perhaps he can be made to see reason so that you can rush to Jessie's aid
B) Exit the store, Jessie has no chance without your assistance but what would Cletus do to Isabella....
C) Place yourself between the gun and Isabella, she can exit to assist Jessie but Cletus would shoot at the first sign of movement
D) Lunge at the redneck, his brutish size might mean slow reactions, Isabella could help Jessie while you attempt to wrestle the gun away from him
E) Throw your katana to distract him, it might just distract him long enough but he could possibly fire before it reaches him
F) Surrender, ask only that you be allowed to help Jessie before he takes you prisoner
Z) CYOA
Be careful here, this fragile situation might mean the end of one of Dead Rising's premiere babes. Your powers are disabled for the moment because of the after shock you were warned about before.

You see no other choice than to attempt a sneak attack. "Hey Cletus, watch the birdie!" You dig into the ground with your heel and blast off at the lumbering brute, expecting his reaction time to match that of a sloth. You receive quite a rude surprise however when the butt of his shotgun smacks you painfully in the chin yet again.
Cletus then lifts you high above his head as though he were lifting a giant teddy bear. "Fuck you!" He tosses you straight into the wall, your head cracking the tile loudly. You slump to the ground, Isabella thinking for a moment that you might actually be dead. "Oh my god, did you kill him?!" She blurts in terror, slinking back toward the door despite the gun still aimed at her.
Christ, he's like a fucking bear. Fighting him at close range is just going to end in another face plant. I have to try something else. Ignoring the intense throbbing of your face, you use the wall to climb to your feet. Isabella breathes a huge sigh of relief though it isn't for long.
"Try that again and the walls'll have a new shade of red, boy. Now I said it before, I'll say it again. Don't. Fucking. Move." He snarls, slobber flying all throughout the air, a small portion traveling so far it lands in front of your feet. What now has you concerned isn't Cletus, it's the silence from outside.
Luckily, your concern is quelled when Jessie slams into the glass doors, pounding them relentlessly to be let in. Isabella faces her, witnessing a mob of zombies four strong approaching. Jessie's face is grim and frightened, her skin pale from utter terror. While this is happening, Cletus decides he is through waiting. He lunges for Isabella, clutching a hand full of her jet black hair. "Ow, let me go you heathen!" Her plead falls on deaf ears, the mountain man has almost completely succumbed to insanity.
You glance at Jessie then back to Isabella. You must either make a choice or risk both women's lives.
Vitality: 80%

Weapon (2 max): Katana Inventory (4 max): Transceiver Current level: 7
A) Forsake Isabella and tend to Jessie, she'll be torn to shreds if you don't
B) Throw caution to the wind and assault Cletus, you could heave one of the display stands at him, it would throw him off guard but Isabella would be harmed in the process
C) Tell Jessie to run, you'll find her when you have handled Cletus (Can be combined with other options)
D) Surrender, ask only that you be allowed to help Jessie before he takes you prisoner
E) Dive forward and crack open the gun case in the center of the store, perhaps you can move quickly enough to acquire a handgun
F) Throw Cletus completely off balance by performing a jig, he might become so transfixed that Isabella could escape
Z) CYOA
I really thought y'all would try something different, Cletus would do exactly the same thing in Dead Rising whenever Frank drew near. Now come on, surely somebody can come up with something interesting in option Z.

"Jessie, I want you to run. Don't stop until you've put plenty of distance between the zombies and yourself." You grudgingly tell Jessie, who only watches in terror from outside. "All right." She nods then takes off, barely avoiding the swipe of a scrawny female. That's one worry to strike off, now back to this paranoid, inbred Redneck...
"What you gonna do now, boy?! Not much you can do, bwah ha ha!" Cletus gloats, each syllable grinding painfully against your ears. "Unh." Isabella maintains her composure despite the shotgun in her face, impressing you with her fortitude. This is hopeless! No matter what I do he's in such a position that he can splatter Isabella's brains against the wall before I reach him.
Frustration begins to overtake you when a calming yet intrusive presence enters your mind. I can feel your anger from here, Youngling. You really should attempt to control your emotions better. I can see all that has transpired as well, you are in a bit of a predicament, are you not?
How the hell can you see what I've done?! But that's not important just yet, I need to get Isabella away from him. How can I do this? You keep your mind focused should the enigmatic man try attempt anything.
Yes, yes, I knew you'd ask that. You still retain an attachment to the pathetic humans, but you will overcome that in time. For now, I will lend you assistance. Clear your mind and focus on the object of your hatred. In this case, the face of this man. You do as he instructs if only to humor him. You focus your undivided attention on his scowling face then await the next set of instruction.
Yes, now simply project your rage toward him. Don't question it, it must be instinctive yet conscious. Your rage is at its peak, unleash it now! Instinctively, just as he had instructed, you envision shades of red washing over Cletus' bearded countenance.
Meanwhile, back in reality, the actual Cletus is blasted backward by an invisible force, dropping his shotgun along with Isabella. "How-oh..." She mutters to herself while you continue to converse within your mind. I'll be damned, it actually worked!
That it did, and this is but a taste of the power you can acquire by embracing your true nature. I'll leave you with that thought, but now you must prepare for the backlash I warned you about previously...
As he had said, you are subject to a drop in strength yet it is nothing serious. Apparently this use had cost little to nothing. "Let's grab the firearms and get out of here. By the way Isabella, I heard what you said. I intend to get the answers you hold eventually. You're just lucky we have more pressing matters." From that moment on, Isabella keeps a mindful eye on you anytime you turn your back.
While Cletus rests in his precious store, you appropriate quite a number of firearms, complete with a traveling case courtesy of The Hunting Shack. "Is this enough?" Isabella asks once the satchel is full. It contains four handguns, two bolt-action rifles, whose make you are as yet unsure of, three pump-action shotguns, one combat rifle, and a sawn-off shotgun Isabella found strapped under the cash register. "More than enough." You chuckle while holding the veritable arsenal.
The next order of business is to procure the proper types of ammunition, which is left with Isabella once another satchel has been loaded up. She recovers the handgun she lost earlier, which still has a decent amount of ammo within. You, on the other hand, utilize the combat rifle and set it to burst fire. "Now let's find Jessie and get back to the others."
Continuing this sudden turn of fortune, you find Jessie awaiting on an isolated section of scaffolding, safely out of the reach of any zombies. "We'll get you down, just hold tight!" You call to her, it takes both you and Isabella only moments to mow down the small crowd at her feet.
"We've got the guns, now we need to plan our next move." On cue, the transceiver rings loudly. "Go Bridget." You tell her upon clicking the speaker. "Frank and John are back from Al Fresca Plaza, they brought a pretty large group back. They're running to Paradise Plaza to assist the people there, but that's not all. I'm seeing a lot of movement out in the park, it appears that someone or something is on the prowl. You might want to check it out." She advises before hanging up.
You look to Isabella and Jessie, perhaps it would be better to send them back now that you have what you came for, but you still need to acquire food. Maybe I should just send them to get it. We've got plenty of guns, they can handle it. You have decided that you'll be investigating the park, but you still have to figure out what the two women will be doing.

"I think it'd be better if I investigated by myself. Jessie, I know you want to assist, but your time would better be served in the Safe Room. Isabella, I'm sure you'd like to get back as well so you can keep an eye for your brother on the monitors. What do ya say?" You conclude that it would be easier to proceed alone, despite the conflicting interests it may represent. "But-" Isabella interrupts the blonde agent's objection with a stern nod.
"He is correct, we will only get in the way if it something beyond our abilities. Come now Jessie, it's rather obvious that you're nervous at the moment anyway." She cocks an eyebrow while awaiting a reply. "Y-yeah but...I...Ehhhh, fine. You win, I won't try to argue with you anymore. I know how pointless it would be, but I'm not going back without a weapon." She crosses her arms, this is a last ditch effort on her part to continue to tag along.
"Fine, take this." You toss the carrying case for the firearms her way, which she fumbles with before finally regaining her balance. "I don't need it, I've got all the weapons I need. Now get going, I'll meet you back there momentarily." You leave them behind without another word, eager to go about your business. Now I can navigate without looking over my shoulder every five seconds.
Leisure park is actually quite nice at this time, a soft breeze rolls in from the North, blowing branches to and fro as it dances through the leaves. You keep a sharp eye about the environment, zombies still dot the area in crowded intervals.
You come upon a trail of dead bodies within a small grove of trees, the blood splattered on the ground still wet. Incisions on each of the corpses tells you they perished by way of sharp blades, though who or what caused them has yet to be seen. Here we go again...
The trail continues on toward the pond in the center of the park before ending, almost as though it was intentionally laid out. "Oh shit." You realize a moment too late this is exactly what had been done, a figure has already grappled you from behind and holds a blade inches from your throat. I didn't even hear or see this guy. Who the hell is he?
"If you'd like to keep your head about you, tell me what in the hell you're doing here. Do anything besides speak and you'll have a new hole with which to breath." A rough voice barks into your ear. "Unh, I came to see killed all these zombies. I see I've found my answer though. You can release me, I'm not looking to harm anybody. See?" You drop your gun to placate the man, his voice sounded like that of a sane man, not a psychotic animal.
He loosens his grip and hesitates before finally kicking you away, retrieving your gun in the meantime. "It's all right, you can all come out." The man orders to thin air. A moment later, an entire band of survivors emerges from the surroudings. One is a woman in a damp blue dress with yellow heels. Another is a man with a gnarly looking headwound carrying a blonde woman. The next is a rather well endowed woman in a hot pink dress, and the final member of the entourage is a woman in a blue bustier.
"Hell of a motley crew you've got here, I'm surprised you haven't been torn apart already. Normally groups this big are the first to go." You quip, though your dark humor is lost on their tired ears. "So, how long have you been hiding here?" The man who grabbed you, who happens to be wearing a uniform of some kind, asks. "Honestly, I've lost track of the time. But if you're looking for a safe place, I know the perfect location. Take your time." You offer to them, they appear to be in need of just this. More mouths to feed, but, then again, that's what we came out here for.
From the first man's posture, you deduce that he must be a soldier of some kind. He is on alert the entire time he converses with his cohorts, almost as if he is expecting something to pop out at any moment. "Lead the way. We don't have any time to waste, this woman is dying." He gestures to the blonde in the other man's arms, you notice for the first time a nasty hole in her torso. These people must have been through hell....
"All right, let's head out. But before we go, care to give me my gun back?" You motion toward your combat rifle, which the soldier still has in his hand. "Right, sorry." You then set off for the Maintenance Tunnels, reaching the Safe Room in record time despite the large entourage.
You acquired everyone's name during the journey back as well as a general idea of what they previously went through. "Welcome back." Isabella says upon your return, then taking the time to personally greet each person. "June!!!" Bridget suddenly shouts, recognizing her friend among the new arrivals.
"Oh my god, what happened?" She rushes to June's side, whom Zack has placed on the floor. Ann gives her a paraphrased explanation along with a deep seated apology. "We have to get her help! She's going to die." Bridget sobs, losing her composure in the face of this dire situation. "Move aside, I can help." Isabella was eavesdropping though that it was hard not to with the noise Bridget was making.
She applies a portion of first aid spray, which serves to stop the bleeding but the gash has turned a sickly purple color. "She needs more than this, but we don't have any other supplies. We need antibiotics and gauze to cover the wound." Isabella solemnly explains. "Wait, I remember seeing a medical store on the plans before. It was in the Entrance Plaza!" Bridget chimes, hope welling up within her.
"Yes, I recall it as well." You add, receiving a tender smile from the model. "Okay, you should hop to it then. We need the supplies as soon as possible. I'll stay here to monitor her condition." Isabella says before focusing solely on June.
You suit up once more to head out but are interrupted by Bridget. "I'm coming with you. I'm not going to sit here, completely useless. Even if you tell me no, I'm still coming." A fire burns within her eyes that you can't help but admire. "I wouldn't have it any other way." You comfort Bridget with a warm hug, her arms encircling you in a display of affection.
Then comes Cynthia, who has been idling about this entire time. "If that's the case, you're bringing me along as well. You were gone too long, I couldn't stop worrying about you. Bridget, I'm sorry about your friend. I want to help too." Cynthia's offer leaves Bridget speechless, she had resented the latina only hours before. Ya know, this could be the chance I've been searching for to convince Bridget...
You shove this thought to the back of your mind, there are more pressing matters to attend to. It would seem you will be bringing both Bridget and Cynthia, neither woman will stay behind as long as they're conscious. This presents another dilemma entirely, you will need proper support if you are to retrieve the supplies and protect both of them. Frank and John haven't arrived back yet, leaving you with limited options.
Relationships: Cynthia: Her feelings for you run very deep, she doesn't want to part with you for any reason. Bridget: It is apparent how uncertain she is right now, Cynthia's offer caught her completely off guard. She still harbors romantic tendencies toward you, this could be the opportunity you've been awaiting to convince her of a tryst....

Choose where YOU should emerge from the Tunnels:
A) Al Fresca Plaza, it is closer to the Entrance Plaza and the trek through the tunnels is shorter
B) Paradise Plaza, it may let out slightly farther from Al Fresca but you might run into Frank and John along the way
Choose who else to bring along for this expedition, choose carefully (3 max):
1) Scythe, he has to be competent considering how easily he ambushed you before 2) Zack, he may have a head injury but he sounded as if he could hold his own from the story 3) Ann, she can fight just as well as Zack but she is in better condition 4) Diana, perhaps she simply has yet to prove herself 5) Veronica, she seems to be very gung-ho as well as tough 6) Jessie, the agent is in perfect health 7) Janet, this hostage of Jo can make herself useful for once 8) Kelly, same goes for her 9) Lilly, same 10) One of the new survivors Frank and John brought back, you have yet to meet any of them
Another point to vote on, should Cynthia and Bridget be given firearms or melee weapons? The guns are limited but it would serve them better than mere melee objects.
One last choice, should YOU stick closer to Bridget or Cynthia? This might seem trivial but it matters....

Maybe that Scythe guy'll come, he definitely looks as if he can hold his own. I just hope I can convince him. You make your way to the soldier, who is currently in a conversation with Veronica. "Can I help you?" He asks upon noticing you. "Actually yes you can. I need a bit of assistance with a certain matter. I'm going to search for medical supplies for June, but the only company I have are those to two lovely women." You point to Bridget and Cynthia, the two of whom are awaiting you impatiently.
"What's in it for me? Look, I'm going to tell you straight out that I'm not here to babysit. I'm only waiting around until I get a call from my squad." Scythe crosses his arms while staring at you with an icy gaze, his gray, penetrating eyes seemingly calculating your next move. "I don't have anything to offer other than the fact that I'll owe you in the future. Take that as you will." You leave him with the offer while rounding up the next member of your entourage.
"Jessie, a word?" You call to her. "Oh sure." She sets her laptop on the ground before coming to your side. "I was wondering if you'd care to come along this time. I sent you off in a bit of a rush last time, sorry about that. Whadda ya say?" She strokes her chin with a thoughtful expression before replying, "Why not? Nothing's happening right now and I could use the exercise. Let me get someone to watch the monitors." While she does that, you see to retrieving a final companion.
The group Frank and John previously escorted has taken root near the rear of the area, they have isolated themselves from everyone else for some reason. Upon closer inspection, you see this group consists of 3 young men, an equally youthful woman, an elderly man with a cane, and a child. Damn, Bridget wasn't fooling when she said this was another large group.
"Excuse me, I have something to ask y'all. Someone has suffered fatal injuries and I'm in need of assistance from a volunteer, a person to come with me to retrieve the supplies." You ask of them. "No way in hell am I going back out there!" One of the men barks, romping off as if you had slapped him across the face. "I-I'd like to help but I have to look after my little brother." The woman quivers, escorting her sibling in the direction of the man who left.
"Why the hell should I help to save someone I don't even know? I ain't puttin' my neck out on the line for a total stranger." One of the other men snaps, waving you with a thrust of the middle finger. "I don't know who in the hell you think you are, but that total stranger went through hell to get here. Now you had best shut the fuck up and think before you speak next time." You grab the rude man's finger and squeeze until he squeals like a pig. "You outta your mind?! Get the fuck away from me!" The last man shrieks while fleeing in terror, followed by his snippish friend. Fucking cowards! This is what I have to count on...
The old man nods sagely at you as you calm down. "I'd love to help Sonny, but you know as well I do that I'd only slow you down. I'll take care of the others though, don't you worry about that. Those boys have been raised better than that." He sets off after them, a stern expression on his aged face. Nice to know there are still some decent people around. Too bad there was only one for three asswipes...
Scythe seeks you out after the incident with the young men, apparently he has an answer for you. "I thought about your offer and decided it's worthwhile. Something about you tells me being owed a favor is more valuable than any paltry amount of cash. Lead the way and I'll follow." He extends his hand in agreement, which you shake to seal the deal. Why do I have a feeling this is going to come back and bite me in the ass?
By the time you return to Bridget and Cynthia, they have armed themselves with a few of the firearms you procured. Bridget has the sawn-off shotgun while Cynthia is in possession of a small caliber handgun. "I see you ladies are all set. Do you have enough ammo?" You ask, taking an extra precaution. "Plenty, fourteen shells, not counting the five in the gun, are more than enough." Bridget explains. "I have three extra magazines. Now can we please go? The sooner we leave, the sooner we can return." Cynthia asks anxiously, something is troubling her.
"You ready Scythe?" He replies with a silent nod, gesturing for you to lead the way. "Wait, where-" "Wait for me!" Jessie shouts, panting as she catches up to you. "I had to find a weapon and get some ammo, someone moved them. But I'm ready now." She wipes a small strand of hair that had fallen over her eyes, chuckling weakly as an awkward silence descends before you embark.
You walk confidently though the still empty tunnels, a feeling of unknown accomplishment welling up within you. I know a lot has happened, not all of it good, but the fact that we've got that many people waiting back at the Safe Room. I guess we are doing some good after all.
You draw Cynthia in closer without realizing it as you walk, her hand clasped in yours. Bridget is too preoccupied with thoughts of June to notice this, much to your relief. "Cynthia, I couldn't help but notice that you seemed troubled back there. Care to talk about it?" You offer softly, keeping your voice just out of earshot of the others. "I-I suppose. I'm just worried that we haven't seen the last of my hometown. It's a feeling I just can't shake, it's been nipping at the back of my mind for some time now. I-it's frightening me." She quivers, bravely holding back tears of fright.
"Hey now, none of that. If it ever gets too bad, come find me. I'll be there for you just like I was before. You can count on that." You give her a reassuring peck on the cheek, garnering a grateful smile.
Meanwhile, Jessie walks alongside Bridget rather closely. "All right, what's the deal? You're hovering way too close." She finally states when the agent brushes against her arm. "This might not be the best time but....W-well, I wanted to ask you about before in the Security Room... Y-you knew what I was wearing under my skirt, and when you came onto me...it made me feel very strange at first. But after playing it back in my head, I think I like it." Jessie's voice softens until it is barely an audible whisper, though Bridget merely casts her a questioning glance all the while.
"Tell ya what beautiful, get back to me on this when my best friend isn't bleeding to death. 'Kay?" The model gives her a sultry wink before strutting ahead, slinging her hips to and fro to tease the very impressionable woman. "Kay." Jessie mutters dreamily, her thoughts pondering forbidden possibilities.
Scythe witnesses all of this pass with watchful eyes though Jessie's conversation is rather entertaining for obvious reasons. He dons an emontionless composure all the while, betraying no hint as to what he may be considering.
All of you emerge in Al Fresca Plaza after traversing the Maintenance Tunnels, which has since been cleared of the bodies from hours before. Fresh undead have taken their place, requiring a slight clean up before a clear dash can be made. You marvel at the grace with which Scythe slays them, not once does he require the use of his M4.
He slits the throat of the first zombie with a clean swipe, moving on to his next victim in one fluid motion. It is as if watching a dance of death conducted by the Grim Reaper himself. The women watch as well, slackjawed all of them. Shit, he means business. I'd hate to get on his bad side...
Once the path has been cleared, Scythe throws everybody a quizzical glance. "What are you all looking at? Need I remind you that June is still in need of medical supplies?" He marches onward without another word, followed by the rest of the group.
The Entrance Plaza has fallen into even more disrepair, chunks of stone have fallen from the ceiling and piled up on the ground, obscuring the rest of the plaza. Rays of sunlight cast bright outsets on the ground, giving the area an oddly serene feel.
"Our store is on the top floor, near the rear. Of course the stairs beside it have collapsed so we'll have to travel very carefully along the second floor. Come on." You take note of the foolish zombies that dot the plaza. They've somehow managed to climb over the rubble and hobble around helplessly in small pits, unable to climb back out of them. Serves the bastards right...
"Whoa!" Jessie gasps as the rail under her hand collapses, plummeting twenty feet onto a jagged rock. It is crushed by the impact, leaving everyone with a gruesome image of what would happen if they were to fall.
"Stay inside, close to the wall, we don't want to have to sweep up any broken bodies." Scythe so thoughtfully remarks, draining the color from Jessie's face. "I guess this is a bad time to mention my fear of heights..." She chuckles once more, continuing the streak of embarrassment. Nobody says a word for the tense atmosphere speaks for itself.
Scythe has point when disaster strikes. A shifty tile he steps on gives way, nearly taking him down with it. He leaps forward and rebounds off the wall, narrowly making it to safety. "Hurry up, it's spreading!" He needlessly advices. "Go!" You command Jessie, who has since come to your side.
"Whaa!" She stumbles but Scythe catches her, sweeping her to safety in the nick of time. "You next!" You push Cynthia foward with all your might, propelling her off her feet and safely on solid ground. "Oh my god!" Bridget shouts from behind, the ground suddenly collapses from underneath her. She dives forward and grabs the edge of a crumbling tile, it can't hold her weight for long.
Below her, an extremely sharp spire awaits along with several zombies, their hands grasping at a prospective meal. You remain motionless as the floor holds steady under your feet, though the slightest movement seems as if it will crumble it. "Hold on Bridg, I'll help you." You reassure her, daring to take a step foward. The black tile breaks under your weight, forcing you back to your previous position.
"Come on, it won't hold much longer!" Scythe calls, Jessie and Cynthia simply watch in horror. "Ah, I'm slipping!" Bridget squeals her baby-blue eyes filled with utter terror. You reach for her with your right arm but can't reach, you must near her a bit more. Fuck, I'm trapped. If I move, the whole floor could give way. But staying still is just as bad, she'll slip and be impaled on the spire. Hell even if she misses that, the zombies would be on her before she'd be able to recover!
As the model dangles helplessly over a pit of death, you are faced with a difficult choice. While all this is happening, Cynthia is unaware of a deadly presence hanging above her, its saliva dripping onto the ground behind her. The creature moves in silently, its fanged mouth nearly upon her tender throat.
Your head throbs painfully, forcing you to look over your shoulder. That is when you see the outline behind Cynthia, you want to shout but the pain is preventing you from doing so. Nooo! Fuck!
Vitality: 70%
Entourage: Cynthia: 100%, 9mm handgun (9/27) Bridget: 100%, Sawn-off shotgun (5/14) Jessie: 100%, 9mm handgun (9/13) Scythe: 100%, Dual claw blades, M4 Carbine (4/60)

A) Motion to the creature, it will be upon Cynthia in less than a second, hopefully the others will catch on quickly enough
B) Ignore the creature and approach Bridget slowly, you'll just have to trust in Scythe's abilities
C) Swiftly grasp Bridget's hand, you have no time to attempt a cautious approach
D) Leave Bridget and sprint to Cynthia's aid, you'd rather not risk her safety
E) Stay in place and do nothing, both women are damned anyway
F) Attempt to use your powers, though what comes may be nothing that you expect, the tense situation ensures that (-10%)
Z) CYOA
Now a vote on a certain character's fate: What should happen to Jessie? Should she succumb to the creature as well or should she live to see another day?

I feel like taking a gamble. I'll say F.
And let Jessie live... For now.
