APPLICATION FORM
Please do not be modest. By filling out this form, you confirm that all information filled out are accurate and to its fullest.
FULL NAME/NICKNAME: Prince Athanasios Basileus (King Constantine III upon seizing power in Greece)
Age: 30
Gender: Male
Appearance (Description required, photo optional)
(Big ass picture, I know. I apologize.)
Please list your flag and your side: Constantine is the King of Greece, Europe's newest absolute monarchy. He is associated heavily with the Federation of Sovereign Nations; chiefly Aryia and the Federal Republic of Germany, though he stays on good terms with Mexico as well.
Describe your personality, including how you act towards others.
Charming and well-mannered, as is to be expected of a noble; though his patience has its limit, as does any normal person. Athanasios was born into royalty, though he was exiled from Greece thanks to a corrupt government. His whole life outside his homeland wasn't all spent chasing skirts and drinking wine, however; he was studying the arts of warfare that he might one day return and take power for himself.
When Greece finally started on a downward economic spiral thanks to the inefficient government, the young prince saw his opportunity. He set into motion a long-since planned out scheme, proclaiming himself to be the rightful leader of the nation and painting the republic as weak and unable to deal with the economic crisis or future threats to national security, and even went so far as to promise to return Greece to its "Golden Age". The Greek people, ready for a change, were willing to try anything, and thus began supporting the royal army with soldiers, munitions, and other supplies.
The revolution lasted just a little over two years. A weak federal offensive ended in disaster at the Battle of Thessaloniki where the revolutionaries dealt a stunning blow against the poorly coordinated federal troops, and the revolution finally ended when Prince Basileus rode triumphantly into Athens atop a tank as Greek revolutionaries stormed the Presidential Palace and brutally murdered every member of the republican government. The young prince was then crowned King Constantine III in front of half of the population of Athens by his most trusted general, Nikolaos Phortounatos.
Once in office, he quickly proved to be a great reformer. His sense of fairness and justice as well as his humorous, easy-going attitude won him the respect of the Greek people. Slowly, things in Greece began to turn about for the better. Constantine then left Greece for a time to meet with Rutger Stone of Aryia and Chancellor Erich Kögein of Germany in neutral Switzerland to draw up plans for an alliance between the three of them, known as the Federation of Sovereign Nations. Shortly after a revolution in Mexico, the new dictator-for-life also entered the coalition.
King Constantine is a ruthless, militaristic individual. He claims that there is nothing he would not do for his country, and seeks to Hellenize the rest of the world once again.
Do you have any physical or psychological weaknesses?
Somewhat paranoid of his position as king, as he knows not everyone in the nation is happy about his rise to power. He is also a somewhat reluctant leader when it comes to the military; General Nikolaos Phortounatos is the supreme commander of the royal army, and was truly the brains behind his revolution. Every practical thinker in Greece knows this.
Do you have any skills or hobby that are functional in war?
As a politician, Constantine is one of the best out there. His silver tongue and quick wit are able to compel many individuals to see his point of view. He is also somewhat of a tactician, able to lead the military when required to do so, but he is usually content to leave matters of war to his generals.
Finally, do you have anything to add?
