John Huenn lives in Manchester bay, Massachusetts. He works as a dentist at the Beverly farms dental facility near the West beach corporation building and has a wife named Claire and a son named Robert. John is 38, Robert is 7, and Claire is 37.

Robert watched eerily as the rain pounded on the window pane. John scooped him up.
"Daddy, why is it still raining?" Robert looked over John's shoulder at the window again. The rain was so thick you couldn't see ten feet ahead of you.
"Don't know, buddy. But maybe mommy will know when she gets back from her trip." John tossed Robert in the air playfully.
"Where is mommy?" Robert did not flinch.
"She's still out of town, buddy. She should be coming back tonight." John set Robert down.
The rain poured harder, but there was no thunder or lightning. John put on his rain jacket and walked outside. The house was surrounded by water, the roads were completely flooded. it nearly reached the front porch steps. The air was tinged with a heavy blue hue and there was a slight fog in the air. John walked back inside and tried to call Claire on her cellphone. The phone rang about ten times with no answer.
"She must just not have heard it." John sighed. Robert glanced back from the window.
"I think the phone pole is dead, daddy." Robert pointed out the window.
John walked over.
The phone pole was knocked over and floating down the newly formed current down the street.
"It isn't windy out, and there's no lightning." John saw it seemed to had snapped like a branch from a tree. Robert shrugged.
"Daddy, since the street is so flooded, how will mommy get home?"
"Don't worry, buddy. Mommy'll be fine. How about we get a little snack?" John picked Robert up again. Robert didn't say anything.
John opened the fridge, it was dark. The power had went out. John went ahead and picked up the ingredients for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. He quickly fashioned one and handed it to Robert, who slowly began nibbling at the crust. John made a ham sandwich for himself a minute later.
After the small snack, Robert went back to watching the rain. John couldn't really stop him, they had a lot of windows. John tried turning on the television but it seemed as though the power was still out.
"Maybe there is lightning after all..." John sighed and flopped on the couch. He dozed off after a few minutes.
"DUNK!"
Robert shrieked and John awoke immediately. He rushed over to Robert.
"What happened?" Robert seemed to be in a daze.
"Th-The-... Something hit the window, Daddy! It came out of the rain!"
"It was probably a bird, buddy."
"No! It was bigger than a bird, and it didn't have feathers." John could tell Robert was sincere.
"Well whatever it was, it sure left a hell of a stain on my window." John began putting his rain jacket on.
"No, daddy! Stay! I don't want you to go outside!" Robert pulled on John's sleeve.
A. Go outside and investigate whatever the hell that thing was.
B. Stay inside with Robert and make sure no more goddamn birds hit your windows.
