Character Name: Dante Sune
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Birthplace: Philadelphia, PA
Physical Appearance (description): Standing at approximately six-foot even, Dante Sune actually quite slim. His black hair is normally left how it was when he woke up, with a ponytail growing from where his spine meets his skull. His brown eyes sometimes bleed specks of copper behind his glasses, which have oval lenses and black frames. His skin has a slight natural tan to it, from his ethnicity. Normally found wearing running shoes, a pair of baggy jeans, a red t-shirt, and either a backpack or messenger bag. During nights, he dons a black, unbuttoned overshirt with gray tribal designs, and a pair of black and red partial fingerless gloves (covers up to just below the bottom-most joint on his thumb and index finger, and up to just below the top joint of his middle finger).
Good or Evil : Lawful Neutral (acts on what he believes is the greater good, be it good or evil, but does have a personal code he lives by)
Strengths: Fast, agile, intelligent, ability to focus, attentive to small details, tactical expert, sly talker
Weaknesses: Nearsighted, Mild Asperger's Syndrome (specifically: limited multitasking ability, can over-focus (will become unaware of the situation around him), sensitivity to bright lights and certain noises, oversensitivity to touch and sound, has trouble reading other people, and sometimes gets stuck on a single thought process (might not understand or misunderstand something because he's stuck thinking from the same perspective)) [[Note: Since he wasn't diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome until in high school (see below), he was raised as (and had to get by as) a normal child. Although it forced him to work through some of his unknown condition, there are some symptoms he never did or cannot get control over, which I've listed above.]]
Weapon Of Choice (Within reason): Marksman/sniper rifles; polearms (specificaly trained in the halberd and quarterstaff)
Personality: Usually level-headed and polite. When uncomfortable, he is reserved and slightly awkward, but this largely dissipates as he becomes more comfortable in the given situation. After that, he's easy to befriend, but hard to gain the trust of. He can be quite sociable and sly, but only when he's very comfortable, or in the occasional emergency. Unless smooth talking, angry, or joking, he tries his best to be polite and humble, almost to a fault.
History: Born and raised in Philadelphia, he was always an intelligent student. As such, he normally wasn't challenged by schoolwork, and thus turned into a bit of a slacker. He graduated from an academic magnet high school in the city, during which he was diagnosed with a mild form of Asperger's Syndrome. After he graduated, he went to Las Vegas University, where he graduated with a major in Military History and a minor in Psychology (though his friends would say that he truly had a double-major in Psychology and BS-ing). After a few failed attempts at getting into the tabletop game (his favorite hobby) business in California, he wandered to Nevada, where he eventually made his way to Fortune City, where he made his money working at a local casino's blackjack tables, and sometimes making extra money gambling on craps.
Location At Time Of Outbreak: Blackjack table in a casino
Ever Roleplayed before?: Yes, on several internet through forums and in real life while playing Dungeons and Dragons, Shadowrun, and LARPing (don't judge me...)
