Mike awoke with a jolt to the noise coming from outside his small saferoom. Before his mind could even identify the sound, his hand flew reflexively to his handgun, clicking the safety off. It wasn't the usual moaning- although that was part of it. No, this was the sound of combat. Crawling quietly to the window, he popped his head over the edge. A man was in the street below, leaping upon the unexpecting undead in his way with some sort of makeshift spear and shield. He was dressed in what appeared to be thick ski equipment, at once obscuring his face from Mike's sight and also protecting him from any stray bits of blood splatter. Mike watched as the brawler floored one with the shield before finishing it with a quick stab. Although his technique was excellent, Mike could still sense a burning rage infusing the actions of the fighter. Damned fool. He's got the upper hand now, but once they're all alerted, he won't stand a chance.Start taking shots from the window at the undead immediately. This is the first live survivor Mike has seen in weeks, and there's no way he's letting him die. Wait and watch for a bit, but step in if the guy looks in serious trouble. Mike isn't exactly swimming in ammo after all. [C]Try to get his attention somehow and signal him to try and get inside the residence you've commandeered. [D]Do nothing and watch from the shadows. See how this plays out. [E]Open fire on the spearman. He might have something good on him.

Unnamed survivor is unstylish. Confusing considering all the good stuff to loot.
I choose C, as he looks like he can handle himself without necessarily needing rescuing, which may attract more of the undead to Mike's location.

I think Z so that he could make a large distraction a block away to lure them away.
But to get some progress going, C.
