History: Born to 2 minorly rich Landlords, Donny grew up well. he was strong, and hardly ever sick. He had a lot of friends, and a lot of allies, even before he was a teen. He was made fun of a little bit, but the norm with any kid. He had a good upbringing, but to his best of word, he was always pretty distant from his family.
When He turned 16, he joined a small time gang, he was a getaway driver for when they cashed false checks or shoplifted, It was just a stupid attention grabbing thing. Until a rival gang member was killed, and the blame was put on his gang. One day of school, He and 3 friends were kidnapped and unnoticed by the teachers or students, where they were tortured. He was the only one to make it out alive, when a drug bust left him discovered...7 days after the kidnapping.
This made him think, act, and become involved and aware of himself. As a final favor, he asked an officer If he could take him to America, he already learned fluent English and could pass as a regular American. Seeing this kid's suffering, The soldier allowed him to fly back to California, where he was Medically examined and set free. He was moved in with a key Figure, as part of a 'Exchange program,' Thom 'Butcher,' who taught him to play guitar.
This changed him forever. 3 years later, He and Thom were playing Gigs all the time, Under the title Of Unrelenting Grind. After a fight over something nobody can remember, the band met Michael Bennet, their future Drummer. Kris Tesla came into the picture when his former band broke up, and They seized the opportunity to Secure their bassist. Beginning to sound like a real band, they had one fateful flaw: A singer.
They were all too terrible to sing (Especially Don) as he puts it, and that's how they met a good friend of Mike's, Mia Steele. She was Mikey's, there was no doubt, but something about her always appealed to Don. She later became their singer, and They were finally a capable band.
Don was, how everyone puts it, the reason that Flare is so big today. He got them many gigs, and an eventual label with TK's company. They did the fateful Vegas gig (Also Don's fault), Which spurred old, repressed memories in his days in Mexico, especially of the ones in captivity. He vowed to get the entire band out. He kept this vow to heart, getting everyone out of that hellhole alive, so that flare could live.
Now, in Fortune city, he faces the same nerve wracking torture of the zombies, and the same heart struck vow that he swears to keep to the grave.
