I've been watching season two. Seems good, actually. However, the comics are superior and we need more redshirts to be killed off.
Thoughts on the show?

I don't like that they aged Herschel up by twenty years and removed six of his children. The hot younger daughter, Beth, wasn't in the comics, either. And I'm guessing Jimmy, her boyfriend, is a stand-in for Billy, Herschel's youngest son.
Otis wasn't that fat and that's not how I pictured Patricia. However, I hope they go the same route with her, she was one of my favourites.
I'm liking it so far, though. Seriously though, kill more people. Start with T-Dog, for the unforgivable crime of being named "T-Dog".

Isn't Shane supposed to be dead by now?
I want Shane to already be dead.

Having Shane still alive opens up a new world of possibilities that can be cut off from the comics. In other news, the show is awesome. So far, I'm fairly certain that no one is going to die anytime soon if they are following the death list from the comics...skipping Shane of course. Most curious thing I want to see though is the old man's barn full of relative zombies.

Better put up a spoiler warning.
Shane was meant to die and should have. It makes Carl more badass and we get rid of this fucknig stupid God-awful love triangle. Love triangles fucking suck. Get over it, Shane, you whiny dick.
People need to die. NEED to die. I recommend T-Dog once again, but this time for nearly killing himself. On a car door.
And maybe Man-Hair Carol.

i've come to like the characters so far, but t-dog is getting on my nerves with all his talking. crossbow guy is one of my favorites so far, along with rick. and i'd much rather shane and otis die than a miracle happen. there's far too many miracles happening.

Another way to get out of this Love Triangle? Get rid of Lori faster.

Another way to get out of this Love Triangle? Get rid of Lori faster. This. Lori is a total bitch and a very shallow character for the most part, as is the blonde girl (can't remember her name). All she does is whine and bitch now that her sister or whatever is gone. Quite frankly I think the show would be far better off without both of them. Same goes for Carol, I'm sick of listening to her whine about her lost daughter that is, in all honesty, probably long dead by now. As for T-Dog, he's overall a somewhat decent character. I like him better than the ones mentioned above, anyway. Same goes for Shane.

I mean, we all know that if she is born, chances are they are not going to kill her (the baby).
Better that they off Lori now while she's still pregnant so they don't even have to come to that decision.

If they follow the comics, then Lori's going to be gone along with the baby eventually anyway.

Dear Lori, Carol, Shane, and Andrea
Fuck off and die. Especially Lori. And especially Shane.
Love, Aussie.
P.S: Can you introduce me to that lil' hot crumpet Beth?

Can we all please agree that this show would be a hundred times better if:
1) They gave up on looking for Sophie 2) Emily Kinney would be in it more <3 3) More zombies 4) It followed the comics more closely 5) It was a musical

Not sure about number four because I've never read the comics and number five because literally nothing in this world needs a damned musical version. The sooner you stop letting yourself think that and rotting your brain on modern pop culture, the sooner we can get along and focus on the REAL issue at hand: why number one alone would make the show far better than what it is. :awesome: Also, you left out a point that I will again address: namely why the fuck isn't Shane/Lori/Andrea dead yet? Seriously, what the fuck? They need to start offing some damned characters already. The whole 'stick together, literally no one dies' thing is both getting old and pissing me off a little. Kill a character! Make the show a bit more interesting! I guarantee it won't hurt the ratings any.

Kill a character! Make the show a bit more interesting! I guarantee it won't hurt the ratings any. The musical was clearly tongue-in-cheek. ...Or was it?See the point you made about why Shane/Lori/Andrea aren't dead yet? THAT'S why it should follow the comics more closely. Shane would be long gone. We wouldn't be spending a million episodes looking for a little girl and being sad. Andrea would have grown and actually become a badass (note: nearly all the females in the comic are tough in some way, unlike the show). Andrea would obviously not be all "where mah gun herp derp" in response to Shane basically admitting he killed Otis. You know these people at the farm, the more minor ones (Patricia, Beth, Jimmy). Something tells me they'll get no development but will get off'd in the seasonal zombie outbreak scene. No major characters will die though. We'll be stuck with a crappy love triangle and dozens of useless characters.

...
Wow. After hearing it put like that, I don't even want to watch the show anymore. But then again, at the rate things are going, I might just stop before long anyway. It's just sort of dragging along and not really accomplishing anything. Like at all. Unless some huge redeeming factor happens in the next few episodes (like a zombie swarm murders every character I hate or people actually start getting a little character development), I think I'm pretty much done with The Walking Dead.

Read the comics, man. They're brilliant. And you won't be spoiling the show (if you do decide to stick with it) as they've drifted away from the comic plot.

I honestly can't wait for season 3. I wonder how the series will handle the prison and Woodbury. I know nothing about the actor they've hired for the Governor, but I see the makings of an amazing villain for the show. Also, I will be immensely disappointed if Axle is left out. I know everybody is all excited for Tyreese, Michonne, and Merle, but I actually really like Axle. The fact that he is such a minor character has me worried he'll be excluded.

Oh, man. Beth is definitely getting killed offed next season. With P and J gone, she's now the closest they have to a redshirt. Pity, I like her.
