Character Name: Josh Giles
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Birthplace: Washington, D.C.
Physical Appearance (Photo or description):
Placeholder for now. I'll draw him myself assuming I ever get around to it but until then this is close enough.
Good or Evil: Good
Strengths: Despite his looks he can be quite a brawler, proficient at close range with nearly any kind of melee weapon he can find. He can also defend himself amiably in hand-to-hand, though he lacks any kind of actual martial training. He is also very athletic and coordinated, able to sprint for a good time without becoming heavily fatigued, and is generally a well-rounded individual with a great enthusiasm for surviving, though not at the expense of innocent lives.
Weaknesses: His proficiency with firearms is slightly above the 'horrid' line; he won't shoot himself in the foot, but he won't hit the enemy too often either. His sarcastic "eternal optimist" agenda can also wear on people's nerves from time to time, though this has never gotten him into much trouble before. With the zombies, however, that may change.
Weapon Of Choice (Within reason): Fire Axe
Personality: A moderate sarcastic, Josh typically attempts to look on the brighter side of things. He is genuinely good-natured, charming, and, at times, slightly naive, though he will get serious when he feels the situation demands it. While killing zombies is his hobby, he is mindful of the law, and strongly detests evil acts. He is an outspoken opponent of those who believe the end will justify the means, as tends to put the lives of others before his own. He will stop at nothing to protect all that he holds dear, but for the most part sees the zombies not as truly deadly, but rather as something to test his skills against.
Loyalty from Josh means you will have a friend who will forever be by your side and will be more than willing to get bloody and assist with any task, whatever it may be and regardless of what may happen. But all the same he does not take betrayal lightly, as even his ability to trust only reaches out so far given the circumstances.
History: Born to a wealthy American politician and a stay-at-home mother, Josh had a relatively normal life in the huge city of Washington, D.C. He wanted for nothing, as his father's salary more than easily afforded whatever it was he wanted to buy. As he grew older, however, he picked up a normal job and went to school like a normal individual, not allowing his 'status' to decide who was or wasn't his friend. After going to college and taking a few classes in photojournalism, however, he quickly grew bored of the life and wanted something different. Nevertheless his father attempted to draw him into American politics as well, and often took him with him on his rounds across the country in an effort to garner support. Josh met a girl named Emily in the small town of Fog Glen while on one of these trips, and had been seeing her off and on for quite some time before finally deciding to buckle down and start dating her for real.
Their first date brought perhaps a bit more than they had hoped for, however, as zombies quickly surrounded the restaurant they had chosen for their first date, trapping them within. He has since left said restaurant along with Emily and her dog, Ryker, and now travels with a group of survivors seeking refuge at the hospital.
Location At Time Of Outbreak: At Song's family's Chinese restaurant, eating their food as though it were free and not caring one bit.
Ever Roleplayed before?: Yup.
