Character Name: Tenoch Axoacatzin
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Birthplace: Mexico City, Mexico; though he is now a legal American citizen in Arizona.
Physical Appearance (Photo or description): An even 6'0" tall with a muscular physique that can only come from months upon months of brutal training and warfare. He has a dark brown skin tone, dark brown eyes, and blue black hair that is shaved short in the prototypical military fashion. Though it is not normally seen outside of fist fights, his upper body is covered in Aztec tribal tattoos, each of which carries its own significance. A tattoo of the American flag is located prominently on each of his biceps.
For his outfit, Tenoch is clad in full Army dress, though he tends not to wear a helmet unless absolutely necessary, instead favoring a pair of Aviator mirrored sunglasses which he wears at nearly all times. Yes. Even while inside. And even in the dark sometimes. That's how badass he is.
Good, Evil, or Neutral: Neutral
Strengths: Lethal with a wide range of firearms but particularly excels at CQC, as he is able to take down almost any opponent of any shape or size with his bare hands. He also has very strong leadership abilities, and can be a cunning tactician.
Weaknesses: Sadly Tenoch was injured badly during a mission in Afghanistan, which resulted in his left shoulder being fractured in a few places. The doctors corrected the wound with plates and screws, so it holds together for the most part, but it is still a weak point as it causes excruciating pain whenever he exerts it too much.
Weapon Of Choice (Within reason): His fists.
Personality: Cold, ruthless, lethal, and calculating, Tenoch is a militaristic individual to the core. His more basic human emotions have been all but crushed beneath years and years of non-stop fighting and cruel military operations. Once the mission priorities are set, he is determined to carry them out, regardless of how much bloodshed it will take to do so. Even his allies fear him to an extent because of this.
Though it is a side of him that is rarely seen, Tenoch is also somewhat religious, and wears a silver necklace adorned with a small cross. He counts this as being among one of his most prized possessions, and would never part with it willingly.
History: The firstborn of an Aztec father and a Mexican mother, Tenoch was destined for the military because of his father's example, who was a veteran as well. His family immigrated to the United States when he was 15, and at the age of 18 he immediately quit high school to join the army. He ascended through the ranks fairly quickly, seeing active service in various places abroad before finally returning to America for a small amount of peacetime duty, under the command of General Brock Mason.
When the outbreak began, Tenoch was among those ordered to contain the citizens who were still living into the major cities, so the Army could better defend them. He objected to this, as did General Mason and a number of those among his regiment, believing that a policy of total war should be waged against those infected. However, with no new orders forthcoming, they were resigned to doing what Washington ordered.
Before long, however, those closest to the Dead Zone had been safely moved out into the larger cities further along the line. With this task complete, Brock promptly turned his regiment west, disobeying direct orders from the capital to stand down and leading his men directly into hell. None deserted, deciding to trust in their commander instead of politicians hundreds of miles away. Making great progress, they quickly purged two whole towns of both the undead and the few survivors there, before continuing onwards on their warpath.
It would likely not be long before the quaint town of Fog Glen would stand in their way...
