Character Name: Rinna “Rin” Reeves
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Birthplace: Willamette, Colorado
Physical Appearance (Photo or description):
Face Pic
Clothing
Rinna dresses like her personality, and her hair also reflects this. Her boots actually give her an added inch, as without them, she is only 5’4”. she has a runner’s body, streamlined and lithe from track and field.
Good, Evil, or Neutral: Good
Strengths: Rinna’s father is a cop, so she knows her way around the basic usage of a gun. She is also quick and agile from years on the track team. She can leap, climb and vault over many things that some people have trouble with.
Weaknesses: Despite her physical fitness, Rinna is not an effective physical attacker. She could throw a punch in a pinch, but it wouldn’t have nearly enough power behind it to cause much damage.
Weapon Of Choice (Within reason): Pistol, shotgun.
Personality:
Rinna is like her style of dress. Wild. She is a person who speaks her mind, regardless of the situation, which can get her into trouble. Honesty and trustworthy, but also with a penchant for being moody. Rinna likes to think she has plenty of wonderful ideas, when really they fall short of being successful, or are just too far fetched for most to understand.
When she is in the room, it seems she will eventually get along with every person in that room, though sometimes the force of her personality grates on people’s nerves until they know her better.
History:
Rinna has lived in Willamette since her childhood, her father being the chief of police in town. As a result, she grew up learning how to defend herself, as well as learning how to use a gun, despite it being against her mother’s wishes. Along with this, she also learned that Willamette was a small town, and sometimes you just got plain bored of living in it.
Her mother was diagnosed with cancer when she was in junior high, which forced her to grow up a little more to help around the house while her mother was in the hospital. This events also made her father more protective and worried about her safety, though Willamette was a very peaceful town and any crimes were usually petty.
Location At Time Of Outbreak:
When the outbreak happened, her mother had been in California for several months at a cancer treatment center. Rinna was at the mall, since it was one of the few places in Willamette that was of any interest whatsoever. She had been browsing the bargain bin at Entertainment Isle in Paradise Plaza, one of the few customers in the shop at the time. She didn’t notice anything was wrong until the cashier started screaming.
She was nearly grabbed from behind by a man in disheveled clothing, but she turned around and hit him across the face with one of the bargain bin DVDs. He only seemed slowed by it, and wasn’t responding to any warnings or questions. More people like the man began swarming toward the entrance of the store, and the cashier attempted to lower the gate to keep them out. In the process, he was grabbed and a large bite was planted on his arm by one of the strange people, but he knocked his attacker away and lowered the gate.
Rinna attempted to administer first aid to him as the crazed people reached through the gate trying to get at them. She is still in the store with the clerk, whose condition is rapidly deteriorating.
