Character Name: Heather Marie Ross
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Birthplace: Lawrence, Kansas
Physical Appearance (Photo or description):
At the tender age of 19, Heather is what one would call a pretty girl, with soft facial features, long, straightened platinum blonde hair that reaches her shoulderblades with the bangs swept to one side and covering her left eye, a pair of bright green eyes, and extremely pale skin due to having a case of albinism. She stands at the height of 5'5" tall, and has a slender, small build due to a particularly strict diet.
In terms of her outfit, she wears a white longsleeved turtleneck shirt overlaid with a shortsleeved red chiffon blouse with puffy shoulders, white capri pants and knee-high brown boots. Completing the outfit is a number of bracelets on both of her wrists, as well as a simple small pearl necklace around her neck and a pair of mirrored sunglasses to protect her sensitive eyes from the sun, which she usually wears on top of her head.
Good, Evil, or Neutral: Good
Strengths:
While not exactly a doctor or even a nurse, Heather has a basic knowledge of first aid, at least when it comes to bandaging and cleaning simpler cuts and wounds. She also has something of a silver tongue, always seeming to know the right uplifting word to say in moments of peril or despair, or even how to talk her way through some situations in which violence would appear to be the only answer. She is also a surprisingly fast runner, although she has participated in nothing akin to the track team or any sort of professional sport regarding it.
As a side note, she is also a decent cook in a pinch.
Weaknesses:
A sensitive person and entirely unused to combat, Heather can be called nothing short of squeamish when it comes to seeing blood; small quantities are enough to make her feel uneasy, while great quantities are enough to make her feel sick. She is nothing close to a combatant; while able to defend herself with something akin to a knife in a pinch, she usually prefers to skip it altogether if she can. She also suffers from a case of both photosensitivity and nearsightedness -- although she alleviates this as best she can with contact lenses, her accuracy with any sort of firearm tends to suffer as a result. On the whole, while she is capable of defending herself admirably enough if there's no other alternative, she is not exactly the one you'd want covering your back while being encircled by a horde of zombies.
Weapon Of Choice (Within reason): Knife or any other small-scale melee weapon.
Personality:
A sweet, delicate individual who at first glance would likely run if you stomped your foot at her, Heather prides herself on being able to get along with just about anyone. She is indeed easily scared at times and prone to getting excited over even the smallest of things, but she can still be quite serious when the situation calls for it. She detests violence, preferring to find a more diplomatic ending to things wherever possible. She loves to help wherever possible, but lacks the strength or expertise to do so at times, a fact that she is all-too-often reminded of when it comes to dealing with zombies, causing her to think of herself as a burden more often than not -- something that she usually tries to make up for by pushing herself to the limit helping out in areas where she is slightly more capable.
While relatively new to the acting world, having participated in several indie films, a couple of roles as a child, and two actual movies (one where she was lucky enough to grasp the lead role), Heather is quite quickly gaining a dedicated fanbase, and is often recognized on the street as a result. While happy about her accomplishments, this has not made her vain or egotistical in any way, making her something of an oddity in the world of celebrities. She is always happy to meet a fan or two.
History:
Born in Lawrence, Kansas to a lawyer for a father and a doctor turned stay-at-home mother, Heather's early life was as simple as could be expected of an upper-class family in America. She wanted for little, as her parents were more than capable of buying more or less anything they needed, which left her a lot of free time to do relatively as she pleased. She took an interest in acting at a very young age, and her parents, eager to see her dreams realized if at all possible, were able to land her a few appearances in a reality TV show as a child actress, although she didn't get serious about it until the age of 14, when her parents enrolled her in the local and well-respected Dionysus Academy of Performing Arts. Yes, that is a fictional school in a real city. No, I have no shame for throwing a name together at the last minute. Fuck you.
Anyway, she would find that she was able to fit in at the school quite easily, and eventually a group of friends and herself would decide to set up a channel on Youtube, where they could create small-scale films alongside a webshow for them to mess around with after school. The channel would be far more popular than any of them expected it to be, while by the end of their time at high school the webshow would be broadcasting to over a million people worldwide.
During her junior year of high school there, she would meet a boy by the name of Dustin Hale, and despite his rough personality she took a real liking to his backwards kindness and gentlemanly ways -- particularly when he beat up a boy who had been incessantly flirting with her and bothering her. The two would become fast friends and eventually begin going out during her senior year of high school, a fact that she was quite happy with.
Upon completing her schooling, it didn't take long for her to continue her career in acting, showing up in a few minor roles in more low-budget films before finally catching a big break in landing a role as 'Princess Callista Minervan', one of the main roles of the soon-to-be hugely popular 'Galaxy Wars' series of films, a spiritual successor to the equally-acclaimed Star Wars series -- though she declined to wear anything close to a slave bikini. Her popularity would skyrocket almost overnight.
After the premiere of Galaxy Wars, Heather would take a little time to herself to see her family, friends and boyfriend, before being contacted by her agent for a role in a new film: Twelve Days at Fazzy Fredbear's. While her acting career was essentially secured due to her spectacular performance in Galaxy Wars, Heather decided that a new role couldn't hurt, and accepted. The movie was completed thereafter, and was due to premier in the small town of Willamette, Colorado, due to the pizzeria the movie was set in being located in the town specifically. Eagerly, she would ask Dustin to go along with her to meet her agent in the town before the premiere, who readily consented and called his father and uncle to drive them, with a promise from her own mother and father to try their best to be there, as her mother had returned to her previous job not long before her appearance in Galaxy Wars. Little did she know what was waiting for her within the town, however, and she would soon find herself alone in an unfamiliar environment, with Dusty and his family leaving not long after they arrived due to their own 'family business'.
Location At Time Of Outbreak: The Entrance Plaza of the Willamette Parkview Mall, holding an unplanned autograph signing the day before Twelve Days at Fazzy Fredbear's was due to premiere.
