Strengths: Rick is strong on his convictions, and will do anything to protect those he cares about. Having trained as a police officer in Georgia, and spent the last few years with the Willamette PD, Rick is also well trained in firearms and hand-to-hand combat.
Weaknesses: Being a man of conviction, Rick is hesitant to bend those convictions in times when it may be necessary. He is only human, and therefore prone to mistakes when trying to do the right thing.
Weapon Of Choice (Within reason): A .44 caliber Colt python and a red handled machete.
Personality: Though friendly and personable when necessary, Rick is a very thoughtful and reserved man. Though he is a man of few words, he is quick to speak when he needs to keep those who look to him motivated. Underneath it all is a fiery temper, and a strong willingness to brutally murder those who wish to harm his loved ones, even if he doesn't know it yet.
History: Rick was raised in a healthy, nuclear family in Georgia, where he met his wife Lori in college and had his son Carl. The family spent their lives there until a job offer in Colorado opened up. He spent two years in Denver before transferring to Willamette, hoping to live with his wife and son in a peaceful town. He and his wife had been having marital issues the day of the outbreak, and Lori had chosen to stay home when Rick took Carl to the mall.
