Having them gone would kinda dishonor the memory of the First, but they do kinda ruin any tension that would have formed. Remove them.

"Let's head back downstairs, I can't shake the feeling that something is wrong." You say to Cynthia, who has no objections. "What exactly are you hoping to find down there?" She asks as the two of you walk down the stairs. "I really don't know...but we'll find out."
You extend an arm to stop Cynthia from entering the kitchen, which was the last place you had know Isabella to be. Cracking the swinging door ever so slightly, you peer inside as a precaution. When you are assured that there is nothing harmful awaiting you, you allow Cynthia to enter behind you. Here we go...
"Look around for anything that might have shown signs of a struggle, scuff marks on the floor or overturned objects." You inform her as you begin your search. The entirety of the small kitchen is visible from the door but you request Cynthia's assistance anyway. Two pairs of eyes have a better chance of spotting something the other might have missed.
You comb the counters for any scratches that might have originated from Isabella's fingernails. When that proves fruitless, you attempt to locate evidence on the wall, perhaps torn wallpaper or a small incision, anything that could reveal how Isabella had wound up in the iron maiden. "I found something!" Cynthia exclaims, a small amount of hope rising within you. "What is it?" You bound across the small area to the latina, who is crouched under the table with a small object in hand.
"Here, I found it under here along with this." She hands you the object, which you are shocked to see is one of Isabella's black sandals, then slides the other beside your feet. You study the sandal very intently for a moment, attempting to recall if her corpse upstairs had both of them on her feet.
"Did....did Isabella have on both of these when she fell out of the iron maiden?" You question while helping Cynthia to her feet. "I really don't know, I was....too shocked to notice anything like that." She says softly, suppressing the tide of emotions that had overcome her before. Her reply is no surprise to you, you are about to exit the kitchen when your foot bumps against the other object Cynthia had slid to you. Oops, I had nearly forgotten about this.
You reach down and lift the fire axe with your free hand. "She definitely wasn't holding this when we saw her. Fuck." You mutter under your breath, hiding your disappointment from your companion. "Take this. Having a weapon around this place isn't a bad idea, especially under the current circum-" A loud creak directly above your heads interjects, prompting an immediate silence from you.
You listen as the creaking moves the length of the hallway upstairs and back. You surmise that it has stopped in front of the torture chamber, no doubt gazing at Isabella's body. I hope it isn't something looking for a meal...
"What is that? I guess we weren't alone as we thought." She whispers to you, not wanting to attract the thing's attention. "I guess we aren't. I highly doubt it's a person or that it's even friendly. It's probably thinking of dining on Isabella for dinner." You tell Cynthia, who gasps uncontrollably. "Keep quiet!" You shout in a whisper, moving slowly to the base of the stairs. You keep your hand gripped around your katana as you prepare to ascend the steps.
Cynthia, on the other hand, seems hesitant to follow you, leaving you with a bit of a dilemma.
Vitality: 52% Entourage: Cynthia Velazquez: 95% Weapon (2 max): Katana with sheath Inventory (4 max): Isabella's sandal Current level: 6
A) Proceed cautiously, you have no idea what lies in wait on the second floor nor are you in any condition to fight at the moment
B) Throw caution to the wind and charge up the stairs, you will likely draw the attention of whatever is above you though
C) Toss something up the stairs to get the thing's attention, better for it to come to you than walk right into its clutches
D) Wait for it to move around again, perhaps it will reveal itself to you after completing its business upstairs
E) Move away from the staircase, you'd rather not place yourself at risk to protect a corpse
It's very important this time, what should YOU do with Cynthia?
1) Bring Cynthia along behind you, she shouldn't be left downstairs by herself, where you have no way of keeping an eye on her
2) Tell her to remain downstairs, she wouldn't be of much use against a hostile creature if there even is one
3) Send her to another room, at least she'd be further away from whatever is upstairs
This time choosing Cynthia's course of action is very important if you would like her to survive, remember what has happened if someone has been left alone....

"You know what? It's better not to go up there, whatever it is might be a bloodthirsty creature intent on ripping us limb from limb." You say, unintentionally frightening the wits out of Cynthia. "Don't say anything like that! It scares the hell out of me!" She gasps, swatting your arm in playful anger. "Just remain quiet." You tell her, shushing her with a single finger before she can reply. You search the hallway for an object heavy enough to toss, your plan remaining hidden until you can enact it. Your eyes come to rest on a rather heavy decoration on a table, a vase crafted with ornate patterns. "This'll do." You mutter, hoisting the large glass vase from its place on the table. With as much strength as you can muster, you toss it high above stairs. It soars until it collides with the ceiling, garnering a gasp from Cynthia. The thunderous noise of the shattered vase was enough to wake the dead, You hear the soft pitter-patter of footsteps from the floor above, successful in your ploy to gain the being's attention. In another twist of fate that defies logic, the thing that comes into view has you once again questioning your sanity. "Isabella?!" You exclaim, seeing the woman in perfect health at the peak of the stairs. "Ah!" Cynthia gasps, clasping her hands over her mouth to keep from shrieking. "Are you trying to make me piss my pants?! That was completely unnecessary!" She scolds at you, romping down the stairs loudly. You honestly do not know how to react to her sudden appearance, not even an hour ago you had held her lifeless figure in your arms. "Is....is this a dream?" You ask her once she has finished descending the steps, receiving a confused look from the Latina woman. "But....we saw you die!" Cynthia blurts out, to which Isabella can only chuckle softly. "Wha-what do you mean?" She asks with uncertainty, her eyes flashing with both fear and curiosity. "Come on." You pull her by the hand, along with Cynthia, up to the torture room. "Right in-" You come to see that the iron maiden has been forced shut and that a chain is wrapped around it, holding the enormous metal contraption shut with an over sized padlock. "Bu....you were.....right there and...." You stutter repeatedly, unable to finish a single sentence after being faced with this conundrum. This is not even the half of though, you soon come to find. The most bizarre happening of the day unfolds right in front of your eyes. While attempting to regain your composure, a door bursts open further down the hall. Stumbling out of it, Isabella coughs and staggers to her knees, drenched and spitting up water. Water flows forth from the restroom, soaking the wooden floor. All three of you stare, wide eyed, at her as she grips the railing of stairs and pulls herself up. "How-" Isabella points and stutters just as you did before, baffled by the doppleganger that appeared before her. "Cynthia, get over here." You yank her arm, placing yourself between her and both Isabellas. You take a step back, one hand on your katana and another on Cynthia's own hand. "What's going on here?" You question of them both, no longer frightened by the strange occurrences. Fear has given way to suspicion and paranoia, you shoot a glance to both of the women as they look at you with pleading eyes. "I don't...know." The drenched Isabella coughs, shambling toward you with murky water in her otherwise gleaming hair. "What are you?!" The dry Isabella asks, taking a step away from her soaked counterpart. "This is unbelievable." Cynthia whispers, looking over your shoulder at both of the women in disbelief. Staring at both of them jolts your memory for a moment, you still have her sandal. You scan both of their feet but this is inconclusive, they are both wearing matching sandals. There aren't any visible stab wounds on either of them, almost as though Isabella had never been inside the iron maiden.... As they both watch you, and you them, you are left with a shaken perception of reality, you can feel that something is wrong. Vitality: 54% Entourage: Cynthia Velazquez: 95%, Fire Axe Weapon (2 max): Katana with sheath Inventory (4 max): Isabella's sandal Current level: 6 A) Ask them what happened the last time you saw Isabella, the real one would know about the sexual comment you made B) Tell them to raise their shirts, perhaps one of them has a hidden scar from being impaled earlier C) Allow each of them to explain what happened up to this point, you'd be left to weed out lies though D) Simply allow both of them to accompany you, maybe Isabella has a twin sister she had been oblivious to E) Ask Cynthia what she believes you should do, this has you stumped F) Kill them both, they're obviously just hallucinations brought on by the stress of everything lately Z) CYOA Obviously this is a rather confusing scenario for YOU. Just be careful on how to proceed....

"All right, I have no idea what's going on but here's a question. One that the real Isabella would have no difficulty answering. What happened when we last saw each other? Or more specifically, what'd I say to you?" You ask in hopes of discovering the identity of the real Isabella. You look to the drenched woman first, expecting her to be wearing either a frantic expression or maintaining a calm, cool demeanor. Neither of these adorn her face, which instead wears a stoic countenance, one that you are unable to read.
After several moments of silence pass, she replies, "I don't want to talk about it. Don't you even want to know what I've been through?" Her voice sounds strangely distant, reminiscent of an echo in a dark cave. "Well?" You inquire of her dry counterpart. "I-that's no question for right now!" Her face is flushed, her speaking flustered by the request you have made. It's obvious now....
You turn around, whispering to Cynthia, "The dry Isabella is the real one. I don't know how to explain the appearance of a second version but she's the impostor. I want you to approach her slowly and pull to the side, I don't trust our wet friend." She nods and begins her approach, the first step barely noticeable with the solemn mood that is permeating the air.
"Why? Why won't you ask what happened to me?!" The drenched Isabella demands of you, her voice no longer distant. It is now tense with anger, a tone that you have never heard Isabella speak with before. "And you." She points to Cynthia, who stops dead in her tracks, terrified by the watery clone. "Butt out." She moans, her head jerking violently to the side before she spews a torrent of water from her mouth.
The jet soars for the helpless woman, whom you rescue at the last moment. The water punches a hole clean through the wall, capable of piercing human bone. "This doesn't concern her. It only.....involves....us." She drones, snapping upright as water beings to ooze forth from her eyes and ears.
"Head downstairs you two! Now!" You command, preparing to engage this phantom of fluid. "Be careful!" Isabella calls as she scoops Cynthia up, hauling her frightened cargo to safety. "No one cares. No one...ever cares." Isabella's doppelganger cries, water still dripping from every orifice. "I don't have time to hear your complaints. Just die so I can get out of here!" You bellow, charging at your opponent with your sword drawn.
Expecting to slice through her flesh with relative ease, you are shocked to find that your blade flows through her torso as it transforms completely into a floating body of water. "Wha-" You snap but are cut off by a sudden feeling of water filling your lungs. Isabella's form is no longer within sight, replaced by a specter comprised entirely of phantasmal liquid.
The sound of your desperate shouts are drowned out by the overflowing water, which has engulfed your body and entered your mouth and nose. You struggle in vain as you rapidly exhaust your dwindling air supply, death drawing ever closer. When you no longer have any strength left, the final drop of water fills your lungs. The darkness welcomes you, death's sweet embrace taking you as well.....
You awake with a start, a cool shiver running down your spine. You look around to see that you are back in the Entrance Plaza, resting at the base of the spire that had nearly impaled you previously. Isabella and Cynthia breath softly at your sides, not a scratch on them.
That was fucking insane. I thought I was as good as dead. Thank goodness it was all just a dream. You close your hand on a rubber object, which you raise to get a glimpse of. You toss it clear across the plaza, horrified to have seen that it was none other than Isabella's sandal, the exact one Cynthia had handed you. The shock is such that you faint, once again entering the shadows....
"Wake up. Rise and shine, sleeping beauty." You hear an almost angelic voice whisper. "Am I...am I in heaven?" You ask once you have opened your eyes, the figure staring back at you illuminated brilliantly by a white light. "Quite a sweet talker, aren't you?" Cynthia giggles, batting her eyelashes.
"I had the craziest dream. You were both there. We were falling, about to hit that rock when we just...." You trail off upon seeing the mystified expressions of the two women. "You two had the exact same dream, didn't you?" They both nod, unable to reply to such a phenomena.
"We'll discuss it later, for now let's focus on, Ugh, getting somewhere less exposed." You say as you climb to your feet, which are rather wobbly and less than stable. "Here, I'll help you." Cynthia offers you her shoulder, which you graciously accept.
"Carlito is no doubt in an uproar about my absence, I need to get back to him." Isabella beings to skulks away when you call to her, "Are you sure you don't want to come with us? The Security Room is safe and you don't even know if your brother will be wherever it is you're going." You offer, hoping that she will accept. She hesitates for a moment, biting her thumb anxiously.
Her reply is such, "That psychopath could still be looking for me. Carlito will have to wait." She beams and follows you as you guide the two of them through the wrecked Entrance Plaza, still amazed by the fact it was a result of your handiwork.
The trek through the warehouse is, thankfully, uneventful as is the elevator ride. You lug your weary body through the vent, taking the lead with Cynthia in the rear. You gratefully take in the cramped space and thick air of the Security Room, assisting Isabella and then Cynthia as they climb out of the metal pathway.
"Find a place to make yourselves comfortable, anywhere's fine." You send them off, slightly sad to part company with Cynthia, who seemed like she had something to say to you. She doesn't stay behind to speak to you though, it must not be important. You realize that Frank, Brad, and John were in the plaza when you unleashed your powers, what if they didn't make it back to the Security Room safely?
You finally have a moment to yourself, best to use this rare time wisely.
Current Romantic Interests: Cynthia: A spark was lit during your adventure in the town of mist, that much is certain, but you don't know how bright the spark was.
Bridget: She has been waiting for you to come back, you definitely feel something with her. She expressed a large amount of interest in you as well....
Jessie: You don't know how she feels any longer, you may be past romantic options with her.
Vitality: 45% Entourage: Nobody Weapon (2 max): Katana with sheath Inventory (4 max): Nothing Current level: 6
A) Find Jessie, she's sure to have questions about your absence
B) Seek out Bridget, It's been a while since you last spoke to her
C) Catch up with Cynthia, you might as well find out what she had to say
D) Follow Isabella, she needs to explain herself for what Sean said hours ago.
E) Look for Cliff, he should be in the Security Room still.
F) Search for Brad and the others, perhaps they made it back safely and you have nothing to worry about
G) Take a load off, you've been feeling weak ever since your expending your energy in the North Plaza, a few moments of rest won't hurt anything
Z) CYOA

"Cynthia, wait up." You call to her, catching her just before she steps into the monitor room. "Yes?" She asks sweetly, shooting you a glance over her shoulder. "I was wondering if you wanted some company, ya know, seeing as we have such a vast space to accomodate us." You exaggerate your display of the Security Room in a rather goofy manner, warranting a smirk from the woman. Ah, never underestimate the power of goofy.
"Well, that's thoughtful of you. Listen, I just want to say thank you for rescuing Isabella and I from that crazy cult leader. He would surely have killed us if you hadn't intervened. And..." She ends her comment prematurely, finding it difficult to grasp the words for what she wants to say. "And?" You decide against filling in the blank, opting instead to wait for her.
"And I'm grateful for you staying close by during our mishaps in that town." She speaks as though it actually happened, something that you had been dwelling yourself. "I have something to tell you as well. The town we visited......is my hometown." These words strike you as extremely odd, how could the three of you have gone to the very town Cynthia had been born in?
"Your hometown? Are you positive? That seems a little farfetched." You reply in disbelief, still questioning this small revelation. "I know because the house we were in.....was the one I lived in as a child." She says with some difficulty, much, once again, to your astonishment.
"You lived in that house when you were a kid?! Did it ever once occur to you to run that by either Isabella or I? That seems like something you'd tell a person." You remark excitedly, baffled by her decision to leave such details out of your previous adventure.
"I was going to tell you but I couldn't think straight with all the excitement! Seeing Isabella fall out of that iron maiden and then appear before our very eyes alive and well was a bit of a shock. Let's not forget the appearance of a second Isabella either." Cynthia snaps, slightly upset by your sudden frenzy. "...Sorry. I suppose you're right, this is just a bit to take in. It all seems like too much of a coincidence. But the question still remains, How did we get there in the first place and why?" You stroke your chin in thought, unable to come up with a plausible explanation.
"Who knows? I'm just glad to be out of the place..." She looks aside, reflecting upon the bitter memories of her childhood. "Something happened when you were young, but you don't have to talk about it until you're ready." You speak in a dignified tone, twisting your face into a humorous expression, much like an old karate master would in a low budget eighties move.
Cynthia can't help but let out a laugh, raising her from the somber mood that had overcome her. "Thank you, I'll keep the fact that you've got an open ear in mind. Anyway, how about introducing me to your friends here. That is, if you have any." She remarks playfully, gesturing to Jessie sitting in her usual spot. "Of course Madam. Right this way." You bow and open the door for her, through which she gingerly steps.
"There you are! Where have you been for the past three hours?! Brad and the others searched for you but couldn't find any of you in the rubble." She yells as you enter the room, garnering a small snicker from Cynthia. "Calm down Mama Jessie, we're safe. We had our hands tied for a while though." You avoid telling her exactly what happened, knowing that she'll have a hard time believing how outrageous it sounds.
"Fine. I was just worried, that's all." She huffs, crossing her arms and spinning around in her seat, apparently satisfied with your sketchy explanation. "Little Miss Priss wouldn't stop bugging me, she kept asking if you had returned every ten minutes. Speaking of which, I haven't seen her in over an hour." Cynthia simply bursts out into laughter, amused by Jessie's irritated demeanor.
"I'm glad you find this funny. But as I said before, Brad and the others were looking for you. They're resting now but you should probably tell them you've returned." She advises, speaking over the loud laughter of Cynthia. "I'm-I'm sorry, it's just been a long time since I've felt so relaxed." She wipes a false tear from her eye, glancing your way as she uprights herself.
"I'll do it later, I'm beat right now. I'm going to hit the hay, a nap is just what I need." You bid Jessie and Cynthia farewell, ignoring all else as you seek out the place where you will slumber. Upon arriving at the mattress, you leap onto it and make yourself comfortable. "Five minutes...." You snore shortly after lying down, exhaustion finally winning out.
Some time later, you leap to your feet, rejuvenated by the pleasant nap. "Now to-" A shout coming from the direction of the monitors shatters all hope of a quiet session of romping about the Security Room.
"What is it?" You ask after entering the small room. "Something just massive just entered a women's clothing store in Wonderland Plaza. I've never seen anything that big before." Jessie tells you, dumbfounded by the spectacle. "It appeared that it had some women with it, but for what, I have no idea. Also, look at this." She points you to an area of the North Plaza, where a group of survivors have begun to barricade the Grocery Store.
She isn't done yet though as she reveals more unrest throughout the mall. Men in prison uniforms are joyriding throughout the park, wreaking havoc upon any zombie unfortunate enough to lie in their path. The fourth and final disturbance is in Colby's Movieland, where the cult is once again on the move.
"A lot of people are in trouble right now, somebody needs to do something." Jessie remarks, obviously meaning YOU need to do something. "Fine, I'll rally the troops." You sigh, preparing to venture back out into the mall for more rousing adventures.
Vitality: 100% Entourage: Nobody Weapon (2 max): Katana with sheath Inventory (4 max): Nothing Current level: 6
A) Investigate the massive object in Wonderland Plaza, damsels in distress await
B) Check out the convicts riding around Leisure Park, they should be dealt with before they harm someone
C) Head for Colby's Movieland, best to deal with the cult once and for all
D) Seek out the survivors in the North Plaza, they are the furthest away so you might have to bypass the other obstacles that lie in your path
Who should accompany you? (Please choose a maximum of three)
1) Jessie 2) Brad 3) John 4) Bridget 5) Isabella 6) Cliff 7) Frank 8) Cynthia
After choosing YOUR destination, please where to send any number of the remaining survivors from the list:
E) Wonderland Plaza, they should be able to handle the behemoth Jessie spoke of
F) Leisure Park, you don't feel like dealing with escaped prisoners at the moment
G) Colby's Moveland, they can take care of the cultists
H) North Plaza, It's too far away for you reach right now
Basically how I would like you to vote here is to choose who should accompany you and then choose where another set of survivors should go. So if you vote A, choose three or less people to accompany YOU and then choose any of the remaining survivors and select a destination for them.
